Finally a Swede update!

Received a message from Swede about a half hour ago - Can NOT believe I missed the call!  UGH!  Anyway - here is what he stated: On Sunday they went in and quarterized a bleed from his pouch.  He is recovering from that.  He is coming home tomorrow - which, BTW - is his 40th birthday!

The mass came back BENIGN!!!!!!!  He stated that he will have to have that taken care of later when he is feeling stronger.  He has started on soft foods and is focused on keeping those foods down.  He is still weak and expects to build up very slowly.  His words were: "cautiously optomistic"

I know I for one am VERY glad to have heard his voice.  He will need all our love and support as he moves forward from this VERY scary set-back.

All I can say is, whew!  And I am glad he seems to be on the road to reccovery!
